How to season wooden Cutting Boards

Step 1

Start with a clean board or utensils. Be sure your cutting board and spoons are as clean as possible and thoroughly dry.

Step 2

Apply the oil evenly over the wood. Using a clean, soft cloth or paper towel.

Step 3

Let the oil soak in and remove the excess after the wood has had time to absorb.
